This painting depicts the dreaming story of the Seven Sisters travelling across the deserts of Western Australia gathering bush tucker. The bush foods of the Seven Sisters, as of the Aboriginal women from Ngaanyatjarra lands, usually fell into green, yellow and red berries, silky pear, quandong, witchetty grubs, honey ants and more.
