Join the Giant Walk on the Great Central Road

Walk your way to a World Record!

Claiming a Guiness World Record could be as simple as putting one foot after the other this September!

The Giant Walk is a chance for people right across Australia to get active and help us claim the Guinness World Record for the most number of people walking 1 kilometre simultaneously. On the 1st of September Warburton will be doing its bit with a walk scheduled to coincide with similar events all around the country.

For more information about the Warburton event contact Shire of Ngaanyatjarraku Youth Programs Coordinator Sue Clarke: youth@ngaanyatjarraku.wa.gov.au

The Warburton Giant Walk event is an joint initiative of the Shire of Ngaanyatjarraku and the Warburton Remote Community School. The Giant Walk is a cross-agency event lead by the Western Australian Premier's Physical Activity Taskforce.
